If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

Trade only

K & G Hairdressing Supplies Ltd. is a trade only supplier. By purchasing products from us you are confirming that you are a qualified Hairdresser, Beauty Therapist or Nail Technician, and as such are competent in using the products sold on this website. We will not be held responsible for any injury or damages incurred by users of the products we sell. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional status and to refuse to fulfil an order if we believe the person ordering is not a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you are insured for products that you are using.

Use of information

The content of the pages of this website is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this website for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Your use of any information or materials on this website is entirely at your own risk, for which we shall not be liable. It shall be your own responsibility to ensure that any products, services or information available through this website meet your specific requirements. Colours of products may vary greatly due to differences in camera/monitor settings; product packaging may also be different to that shown.

Product availability

All products are subject to stock availability. If we have insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you we may, at our option, send a carefully selected substitute. If the substitute item has a lower price we will refund you the difference. We will not charge you more than your original order total without your permission. We will not be obliged to offer compensation for any disappointment suffered.

Pricing

We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors on the site at any time. All purchases are subject to availability and K & G Hairdressing Supplies Ltd. reserves the right to refuse to supply to any individual or company for whatever reason.

All prices are exclusive of VAT and delivery and are quoted in Pounds Sterling unless otherwise stated.

Special offers

Special offers are subject to availability and may change without notice. In-store offers may not be available online; online offers may not be available in-store. When a free or discounted product is issued as part of a special offer, this must be returned or full selling price paid if the qualifying product is returned as unwanted.

VAT Free Terms and Conditions:

Our VAT Free equivalent sale means the total payable is the pre-VAT total of the merchandise. You will still be charged VAT (that’s the law!) but the total amount you pay is as if we had not charged it. For example, if a product costs £10.00 +VAT the total you pay is £12.00. When we have a VAT Free Sale, we discount the price down to £8.33 +VAT so the total you pay is £10.00, which is the same as the original price, but without the VAT.

Payment

Payment in full is required to be made by any of the following credit/debit cards: Visa (including Electron), MasterCard, Maestro or PayPal through this website prior to dispatch of goods. You can also pay by BACS, please contact us prior to placing your order to arrange payment by this method.

Free delivery offer

Applies to UK Mainland (excluding Rural Scotland) orders placed online totalling £45 +VAT or more; college kits & delivery charges do not count towards the free delivery threshold. Orders over this amount that include furniture or equipment could be subject to a surcharge due to the increased cost to deliver large and/or bulky items. Please request a quotation for delivery on any of these types of item before placing your order.

Delivery times

We aim to dispatch orders within 1 – 2 working days (over 95% of orders are dispatched within this time frame) however stock availability can affect this. Furniture and equipment orders are normally delivered within 2 – 4 weeks however some items may take up to 6 weeks. You’ll be advised of the estimated delivery date shortly after your order is placed. Please allow an extra day for deliveries to Rural Scotland addresses.

Please note: Goods cannot be delivered during weekends or public holidays and these do not count as working days.

Delivery times above are from date of dispatch (transit time only). All delivery dates are quoted in good faith and we cannot accept liability for any expenses or other costs incurred due to failed or late deliveries.

Please note: During Bank Holidays and the Christmas & New Year period we will get your order to you as soon as possible after we reopen but there may be a slight delay due to the large amount of orders we receive.

Delivery address

You have the option to give a different delivery address to the billing address. This means that you can have the goods sent to your workplace for example or to a friend as a gift. Please try to give an address where there will be someone present to sign for your order between 7:30am and 5:30pm Monday to Friday. You also have the option to give instructions for the goods to be left in a safe place; however goods are left at your own risk.

Delivery to overseas destinations

Please contact us for a quotation for delivery outside of the UK (including Rural Scotland)

Special order

A product displayed as ‘Special Order’ is currently not stocked by us and will be ordered from the manufacturer/supplier and either sent directly to you or we’ll dispatch it once we receive it. Please note these items may delay the delivery of the rest of your order. Delivery times on these items usually range from 2 – 5 working days but can take longer in some circumstances. Please allow 2 – 6 weeks for delivery of salon furniture and equipment items.

Product restrictions

Please note we cannot send aerosols, flammable or hazardous items to overseas destinations. These types of products must not be ordered for delivery outside of the UK.

Customs

When purchasing goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. You are also liable for any additional customs clearance charges, we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods for delivery outside the United Kingdom it is your responsibility to comply with all laws and regulations of the countries the goods will travel through and where delivery is to be made.

Your online account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately.

Ownership of goods

We will retain ownership of the goods you order until we receive full payment for the order including any applicable delivery charges. Once the goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Returns

Returning goods bought online is no problem, all we ask is that they’re returned within 28 days of delivery, unused and in their original packaging.

Please email us at websales@kgsupplies.co.uk to inform us of your intention to return goods and whether you are looking for an exchange or a refund. Goods must be returned to the address shown below, please ensure a copy of your invoice/receipt accompanies the return. We strongly recommend you use some form of recorded delivery as we cannot accept responsibility for any lost goods. If you’re unable to send goods back to us you can request that we arrange a collection, however the cost of this will be deducted from any refund due. The original delivery charge cannot be refunded. Furniture and equipment orders may be subject to additional conditions, please see below for details.

Due to hygiene regulations we cannot accept returns (subject to our discretion) of the following products if the packaging has been opened; Scissors, Razors, Cosmetics, Hair brushes, Hair extensions, Body jewellery, Piercing tools & Foot Spas. This list is not exhaustive and does not affect your statutory rights.

Furniture and equipment items

Most furniture and equipment items are built to order or custom built; these items are subject to the following additional terms of cancellation or return:

Furniture and equipment orders cannot be cancelled more than 5 working days after being placed.

It will be clearly stated on the relevant product information page if the item you’re considering is subject to these conditions.

Faulty, incorrect or undelivered goods

We take great care to ensure all goods you receive are correct and undamaged. However, in rare cases where incorrect or damaged goods are received (or where goods you expected to arrive haven’t) you must inform us by email within 48 hours of delivery/expected delivery to websales@kgsupplies.co.uk. We’ll arrange a collection of the goods (at our cost) and send out replacements as soon as possible. If it is more convenient for you to send the goods back to us, let us know and send to the address below using recorded delivery and we’ll reimburse you the cost of this.

Force majeure

K & G Hairdressing Supplies Ltd. shall be entitled to cancel or delay delivery of orders if it is delayed, hindered or prevented from delivery through circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) industrial action, accident, fire, act of god or failure to deliver by suppliers or couriers.
